A Lady on Facebook told me that she has s friend in the US who has a dog trained for PTSD and Crohns. The dog can alert her a half hour before she needs to go to the bathroom so she can have time to find a bathroom.

Just having the dog with you while you are sick seems like awesome support!
IBD is an isolating disease.

Our dog has wrapped himself around my heart and his body heat helps my stomach.

I'm a cat person myself but I understand the comfort pets give. They seem to know when I'm not feeling the best and often calm me.
