Iron Infusion today - severe sore throat !

Hi I had my first iron infusion today for anemia due to Crohn's and my throat is killing me right now. I took some tylenol and benadryl about an hour ago but it is not helping yet. Has anyone had an iron infusion with this side effect ? Could I be having an allergic reaction ? I don't want to over react but I can never tell what's going on with my body anymore !

If you have any fever, swelling in mouth or throat or at injection site that would be of concern. You can certainly ring the infusion center to report it

Thank you for the link nogutsnoglory . I hope it's just a sore throat and not swelling .
