Is it a good idea to just skip dinner?

When every time i ate a dinner,my entire night is full of desire to defecate,which i ended up fall asleep in around 6-7am every time.i figured that i could only fall asleep after 10 hour from my last meal,which my bowel is nearly empty after several bathroom attempt at midnight.

Is it ok to just eat at daytime and skip dinner completely?
 
May help to eat heavier (dinner type) meal earlier in day (sometimes I do for breakfast) and then light meal for evening. Key is keeping your body on some kind of schedule.
