I've been reading posts for hours now on different treatments and finding that for most, along with my own experiences, the treatment's benefits are much lighter than the side-effects. I have taken 2 seperate treatments (admittedly forgetting the names of both) over the last 3 years and chose not to continue them because I felt the treatment was worse than the symptoms of my Crohn's. The past 3 months have been so severe that I am not going back and looking into different treatment options. Recently, several people I know have recommended MM. I've done quite a bit of research online (which is how I ended up here) and found that the vast majority has been extremely positive. When I looked at how I go about getting legal access to the stuff the whole opporation just seems to daunting. I live in Alberta and I know it is possible to gain legal access. If anyone could provide some advice that would be great.

Thanks.

Okay, Canada can be very forgiving with MMJ. No one in Canada who has been convicted with possession that has a legitimate medical condition has had the conviction stand if they fought it. I'm pretty sure it's all of Canada, I know definitely it's Ontario.

It can be tricky getting the exemption, I didn't go for mine I cared more about safe access. But the laws will start to change soon.

I'm not sure of where the dispensaries are in Alberts but I assume there has to bea couple in the big cities, failing that mail order does exist. Just make sure you are up front with your doctors.

I can't really find much information regarding dispensaries in Alberta. Edmonton specifically. I will be seeing my doctor soon (hopefully) and I'll be bringing it up with them. Legal/safe access seems difficult to find.
