Well been pretty rough since my last post, I spoke to my gi's secretary and was contacted back an told:
Gi wants t leave me as I am ( in bad pain and d ) no steroids until pill cam as he wants to see active crohns in the small bowel! See gp for more pain killers and ring back if needed.

Ok fair enough I understand that they need to see problems in the small bowel but my pill cam isn't till march lol so I gotta suffer till then, lots of tramadol and codeine will help but I don't wanna end up in hospital lol
Well at least it should defianately be seen now but to suffer for proof isn't nice at all I wish there was an easier way

I'm so sorry you are going through this. Sometimes dealing with Drs is almost as awful as the disease itself! I hope you get the help you need soon.

Use the emergency room at your disposal and if you can, try to see anther GI doc in the meantime. A lot of people say that you have to wait 3 months just to meet your GI for the first time but many have openings for people who need to be seen immediately. If your symptoms worsen such as bleeding, fever, vomiting, pain increases, I'd suggest going to the emergency room and contacting your GI. This way your pill cam test will most likely be bumped to a sooner date. Although, I hope you don't get worse.

Sorry to hear you are being told to wait & put up with it ~ they just don't understand one bit what a CD patient has to try to cope with.
During all the years i suffered this happened to me many times.Every time it got to the stage of being unbearable i got an ambulance & went to A&E.Many times they tried to 'fob me off' with drugs but i just kept going back & strangely enough i was so seriously ill i ended up having 9 operations in 21 yrs. Before the last resection i went in via a&e & just point blank refused to go home until they found out what was going on.12 weeks later following the failure of steroids i was back facing the knife. For the previous two years the arrogant 'Dr' 'treating' me abruptly told me no exacabation of CD despite classic symptoms. He was so badly wrong ~ but no chance of even an apology.Sorry to rant but if it was a member of their family suffering they would soon change the often disgusting attitude.
Hope you can cope ~ if not take yourself to A&E.
