I´ve heard that much olive oil in the diet should be good in order to decrease inflammation, but will it have a laxative effect for Crohn´s patients.

Yes it is laxative, like every oil/fat,they are lubricants they work that way. Still its the best oil you can eat because it gets minor to zero processing (its basically olive Juice). Its good to eat raw or cook in low temp since high temp cooking causes loss of nutrients. A couple of spoons in salads or fish or veggies and you are good to go. As with every food if you overdose you will face problems.

Recipe: Take the lemon juice from two large lemons, ad 2 table spoons of olive oil whisk until smooth and use it on grilled fish or as salad dressing H-E-A-V-E-N

I make myself dipping bread with olive oil for dinner sometimes and i find it always helps any constipation i have. But i wouldnt say it makes me go any more, just easier when i do go.
