It might be working...Remicade...

Well folks, I think Remicade may be working for me.

I haven't had any severe pains this week and I've been tapering down off my pred. I've also (embarrassed) for the past two days had amazing poo's ROFL.


I'm sure you guys know what I mean, how it is to get excited about a normal...poo! LOL

Anyways, I have to head to work but I thought I would share some good news for once!

Yay that's awesome. I remember when I first went on Remicade, first it was normal poo's then it was massive farts that you had all the confidence would not soil yourself.

*hugs* Thank you! 2nd treatment went good, I just feel tired as heck again. Remicade wipes me out that is for sure.

Kittee am so glad your remicade is going so well!

I had mine last Tuesday and it wiped me out. Usually does. Just feeling very tired. My gastro cons upped the dose as I had put on weight and wasnt at my 5mg/kg. I didnt know til I started to feel rough during it and my BP dropped. Looked at the iv bag and asked the nurses if it was a 0 or a 6 I was seeing and they said its a 6. So he has taken me up another 60mg. Ouch.

Keep going girl!!

I am so heartbroken.

I am not sure what to think at this point. I dropped my dosage of Pred down to 5mg Monday and by today I'm in the middle of a horrible flare. The nausea came back full force yesterday and by today I'm on the can every 30 mins.

I didn't think it was possible to start flaring while on Remicade. =(

CRAP do you think this might mean it's not going to work for me?? I'm in panic mode right now.

To make matters worse, after I pick up my hubby from the airport, (haven't seen him in a week) I have to go to a dang dinner function, dressed to the 9's. Not that I don't usually like stuff like this but not tonight when I feel like poop, and I'm exhausted from the poop.

OMG I just realized, I'm wearing panty hose tonight....all you ladies know what a PITA it is to go potty when wearing hose. DANGIT.

Keep your chin up. I think Pen nailed it on the head. I hope it works for you. Its interesting since you've been on the board since the beginning mostly and now you're all the way to being on remicaide so we get to watch your progress. Poop voyeurs that we are.
