Itching and what looks like petechiae

im itching like mad. Especially on my chest. Probably dry skkin but who knows
What concerns me given my list of meds is the red spots/blotches that appear when i scratch. They look like petechiaeto me. Have put in a call to PCP but he isnt in office till monday, nor is gastro so unless its like dire emergency go to er which i dont thinkk it is im stuck till then.

Anyone seen anything like this before?

This can be a difficult situation without some help
Have you tried taking an anti histamine,
Have you tried a moisturising cream
You may have dry skin especially if it is winter in your area winter heating can do this.
It is possible you may be reacting to a medication so if it gets any worse you may need help from the
Emergency room
When this first happened to me I tried self treatment but ended up with full blown anaphylaxis
And nearly died--ended up in hospital for a week.
It was due to ciprofloxacin
Next time I had the itch I took antihistamine which really helped but also called my doctor
Who said to keep an eye on it. It resolved after two weeks
So no further intervention needed

Ive always had crazy super sensitive skin and react to everything. I kind of think the underlying itch is either from using a new soap the other day (usually a bad idea for me) or dry skin... this new developing-what-looks-like-petechiae-almost-immediately is new though ... weird body
