Hi just wanted to write a post today, today is my first day since 24th June when I have not had D. I woke up in the morning and felt different, my first feeling was why am I not running to the loo with urgent cramps and I have not got up in the night to go. I have even been to the toilet three times today and did not have D. I still have the pain in my right side and its very uncomfortable to go but I feel fantastic. I am kinda waiting for it to start again.

Going to see my consultant on 8th for my results of all my testing, but feeling a lot better and wanted to share this with all my new found other crohnies!!!

YAY!! Congrats on your nice poop day so far!
But ugh - what a long summer you must have had. Can you figure ANY reason for the better poops?? Enjoy!

No Not really although I did not really I did not eat anything different or do anything I am just keeping my fingers crossed that that flare up is over for a while!

It been a long summer and just hoping and praying that I have a bit of time before the next flare up!

Thanks Shantel,
Me to feeling like a different person, I can put up with the low dull pain in my right side if I am not running to the loo every 10 minutes!!

Isnt it funny how we get so excited about this!!!! It then makes us wonder why it is happening and scared that it may not last.

Yippie! I know how you feel and remember after having diarrhea for 2 YEARS then being put on steroids and having an almost normal bowel movement or passing gas and thinking...oh man, that's amazing!

You would be the first person that Wanted to see it.

Kev used to take pictures of his, to give a clearer picture to his doctor. It worked well for him. When you say you have a lot of blood in your stool, a picture shows you are not exaggerating.

I am not sure you would want it in the family photo album, but to each, his own.

I take pictures, and I say that I wan't to show the doc what going on, but I think I would feel a little weird.

Well done you, It must be something in the water as Nicci was the same, first time out in ages, Peggy

It's weird if you show it to someone who doesn't understand, but Gastro's look at this stuff all the time, if they get grossed out you need a new doc. I think showing them pictures may be really helpful in treating your condition.

Thanks guys finding this forum has been a breath of fresh air for me I have learnt so much and am able to share things that you would not normally discuss with collegues or aquaintences

Loved the bit about bronzing the first hard one!! I have continued with the formed ones which is great! but in the back of my mind as you all are I am just sorta waiting for it to end and the running to the loo to begin!

Theresa
