Soooo...just was peeking in to find a link to my 504 template for a friend...and thought I'd say hello!

Izzi is doing fabulously, still...we upped her dose of tacro last month as she has gained some weight but her labs have been practically normal and she is feeling great!

I am on the CCFA Take Steps comittee this year and Izz is the honored hero...she is over the moon! She will also be featured in a video for the CCFA's Gala (that we get to attend) and will be on the news. :ycool:

We are super busy this summer...we have been taking advantage of each good day, doing parks, beaches, and I took the kids to New York City and New Jersey. I am hoping that all of your littles are faring well and I hope to take the time once school starts up again next month to catch up with everyone again...

 Wow, fantastic news!!! So nice to hear that Izzi is doing so well! So exciting that she will be the honoured hero!! Well deserved! :D

Great to hear from you Angie, and even better that you're all having an amazing summer and Izz is so well ! :)

Congrats to izz on being the honored hero - she deserves it !!

Thanks for he update.

:dusty:..Great to hear that Izzi is doing well....Hope it continues forever!!!!

You did a beautiful job writing her story on the Take Steps website! She is definitely a hero in my book!

So GLAD to hear from you again!! And that you all are doing so well!!!!
Can you tell us more about tacrolimus when you get a chance? Is it an immune suppressant? And after using all the tnf stuff, why does Izzi's GI think it got her into remission? I remember all the trouble your little girl went thru. My son is having trouble with remission. I don't think we've ever got there.

Happy for you guys!!!! Thanks for sharing your good news. Wishing Izzi a fun school year! I have been hoping you guys were off enjoying life! Take Care.

Woohoo! Fab update Angie! :dusty::dusty::dusty:

It makes my heart sing to know that Izzi is still doing well on the Tacro. :):):) And the honoured hero, how brilliant is that! Well done Izzi and mum! :medal1:

Onwards and Upwards...:mademyday:

Yeah! Love to hear she is doing well and you are busy and enjoying life. Great job on the honored hero, she is certainly a hero everyday.

Congratulations on many things! I really like how you wrote up her story on the CCFA website.

May she only know good health!

Izzi is still doing fantastically well. She was in the CCFA video and we were guests at the "Evening to Remember" Gala in Albany-she danced all. night. long. At some point I will get the video uploaded.
She has put on 17# this year and is a bit overweight-checking her thyroid function next month as my mom and niece both have thyroid issues-hoping it is a stage.

UGH forgot to edit pic size...sorry!!

Angie, so glad to hear the good news!!! After all the struggles you had, it's great to know that Izzi's been so well and has been so for so long!

I love the pictures and you both look like you're having great FUN!!! :D

Thanks so much for the update Angie! :):):)

What fabulous pics and how amazing do you both look!:dance::dance:

Good luck with Thyroid, I hope all checks out okay. :ghug:

Sending mega loads of love, luck and well wishes for continued good health.

YAY! That calls for some dancing $*^t! :poop::poop::poop:

LOVE the pics but really what is with you and Mary with all the glamour shots. All I have on here is me with no makeup naked in a car tub....I gotta get better pics on here.

Angie,
I have been away and just got back. So nice to hear Izzie is doing so well. Congrats on her being the honoree. Was thinking of you guys so am so glad you posted!

awesome news! I think of All you guys often! I'm glad I haven't had the need to bug you all for sometime, but I should try to stop by more often than I do!
Hope Izzi is still doing great as of this writing.

Are you all planning a party without us? Let's get the party bus going and do pick ups across the country.

We would love to get to Toronto this summer...we will be away for much of April but tag me and I'd love to chat about it!
Thanks for all of the love...we went to Albany to discuss Izz's continued tacrolimus use with another doc...other than giving 6mp a try he agrees with our treatment course despite the risks due to her quality of life, which is always good to hear. I'll discuss 6mp with her regular GI again-both docs agree it's a slim chance but maybe we'll try.
