My son was diagnosed Aug 2011 with Crohn's he was 7 at the time. He is now 8. The doctor wants to start Remicade....this forum is very helpful to get real people's experiences. Wish us luck!!

Have you seen the Remicade and parent's forum? If not then pop by and have look around...

There are other parent's here that have children on Remicade or Humira. I hope your boy is doing okay and wish you and your boy all the luck in the world that Remicade works wonderfully well...:goodluck:

Sending lots and lots of well wishing hugs :hug: Really sorry that Jake has to now put up with such a nasty disease but we are all here for you for any advice and support needed. Remicade has been the miracle drug for many here so fingers crossed!

Welcome to the board. I am so sorry that Jake was diagnosed with Crohns. I know how frustrating it can be to watch your child not feel well. You have certainly come to the right place to find support and direction - and also to vent anytime you want to

My child was on Remicade for many many years - at one point, was on double dose - and thankfully we never had any reactions at all. It really made a huge difference for the better.

Have you already scheduled the 1st infusion? Or, are you still thinking about it? Let us know what you decide to do.
