Just finished 8 weeks of Prednisolone, is it normal to feel completely drained?

Hi

I'm completely new to this and also a newly diagnosed Crohns sufferer. I've just had a colonoscopy last week and finished an 8 week course of Prednisolone on Wednesday. Since Saturday I've been beyond tired. I can barely stay awake. I had a two and a half hour sleep this afternoon and was ready to go back to bed as soon as I got up. I'm really shivery as well and everything aches. I guess what I thought I'd ask is if this is linked to anything or if I've just got really lucky and caught a bug as well as all this going on. Hope this isn't a stupid question and thank anyone in advance for any reply.

Fatigue tends to be a big issue with crohns, and it may be that the pred was keeping it at bay but with a sudden onset I would go to your primary and ask if it's a bug as all over body aches I don't believe are very common with crohns.
