just wondering if this has ever happened to anyone?

hey everyone! i am flaring up again...only this time instead of a constant pain in my lower right side of my abdomen,, it feels more like spasms of intense pain that starts from my belly button and goes all the way down to the lower right side of my abdomen. this never happened before and wondering if anyone had similar spasms vs constant pain??

Hi Linder, yes, I have had them and as the matter of fact today was one of them. I taken antispasmotics, mine are Dicyclomine, I have tried Buscopan but they didnt do anything. I have been told I have a spastic colon but for the most part it was behaving. It is not unusual to have IBS. Ask your doctor about getting antispasmotics, it could help you. Could be your gallbladder or appendix, muscle spasm or a stricture. I have tried Hyomax for anti-spasmodic, didn't really do much.
Gallstones will cause waves of pain...

The hycosamine (or Hyomax) has really helped me with the spams! My doc recommended I take them more often than I was to try to stop the spasms before they started. I'd try that for sure!
