Just wondering if anyone here can drink Kumbucha? I know it's good for the digestive system, I got some had a glass and didn't sleep because of well, ya know!!!

BUT I also could have eaten something else that ruined me, so I don't know if it was the Kumbucha or not.

thanks!

I have had shots of Kombucha and been fine. Be careful having too much due to the alcoholic. content. I have had one shot a day on occasion.

I'm not sure of what exactly is in Kombucha - is there caffeine in it? I know there's probiotics in it, and I don't do well with probiotics so I personally avoid Kombucha. If there's caffeine then I'd avoid it for that too (caffeine triggers my migraines). It depends on your personal situation - if you can handle caffeine and probiotics and whatever else is in it, then it's worth a try. My mother drinks it all the time and she loves it, although she said it's got a "strong flavor" and is definitely an acquired taste.

Hi Cat

Yes, I think that most Kumbucha has caffeine. Mine is made with tea which has a low caffeine level. It also has bubbles from being fermented...the bubbles scare me since I cant tolerate anything fizzy. I guess better safe than sorry right!?

I quite drinking it. (one more thing off my list of things to eat or drink)
