Is anyone else on the supplement L-Glutamine? I don't know if it is related but I took a teaspoonful with a glass of water last night. Today, I am feeling gurgling in my stomach. Are the two related? Did I take too much? They said a scoop but I didn't find a scoop in the container. Thanks.

I don't think you can take "too much". From what I've read it has little side effects, so any excess will just go through you .

I did find other sites on google that gave a whole range of side effects, but none of them had any references, so personally I didnt trust them.

My L-Glutamine tub says 1 heaped teaspoon. I normally add it to my protein shake after a workout

I take 500mg capsules that have B6 also. I'm usually very sensitive to side effects and never noticed any problems with it.

A small teaspoon is more than enough, wouldn't take more. Glutamine isn't that dangerous in itself since your body produces it itself, there's a lot more glutamine in your body than in that teaspoon, but you should still be careful not to overdo it too much.

Glutamine was one of the supplements I tried which did absolutely nothing. Nothing bad, but nothing good either.
