My left eye is giving me trouble today. I have worn contacts for 20 years. For awhile I kept getting eye infections but I started taking my contacts out at night to sleep and the eye infections were less frequent. I started this city job 2 years ago and noticed my eyes starting to act up again due to being in the sun all day, cutting grass...itchy, irritated...which is what one would expect working outdoors while wearing contacts. As soon as I get home everyday I take my contacts out and rinse my eyes and wear my glasses. 90 percent of my off time I wear my glasses. Now having said all that....we haven't been cutting grass cuz it hasn't been raining for it to grow. We have been doing a lot of indoor projects so I'm not doing anything that aggravates my eyes. I still however take out my contacts as soon as I get home. My eyes feel gritty lately, worse than when I'm cutting grass. Light sensitivity bad. And today blood vessels are showing in the whites of my left eye. And my vision is coming in and out of focus...blurry. Again the blurry isnt constant. I didn't wear contacts all weekend because my eye was hurting like it still is today. It's not constant, it comes and goes. What is it? I know I need to see my eye doctor and I will after I get the rest of my uncooperative body parts in line. Haha Any suggestions as to if this is the eye problem everyone else is referring to. I'd hate to lose contact privileges and be stuck in glasses.
