My son was recently diagnosed and has not been able to achieve remission with lialda and then entecort (generic). Entecort was working so dr. Told him to stop the lialda. Within a few days he was in flare again. Started on 6mp 5 days ago but still miserable as that takes weeks or months to be effective. Question. Should he try to stay withis or ask for prednisone or how long should he expect to be feeling terrible. thanks for any help or suggestions.
