Anyone with Crohn's ever had a Lipomatous mass? I have been experiencing knee pain for about 5 months. I saw an Orthopedic Physician as I thought I had a meniscal tear. MRI shows a lipamatous mass in which is requiring me to have another MRI tomorrow of my thigh to as it was large enough that it was off the image of the knee. My GI is conferring with Orthopedics. Just wondering if anyone else with U/C or Crohn's has experienced these or if there is a correlation. I have U/C and Crohn's and am on multiple meds in addition to Remicade and 6mp.

Thanks!
Cristina

Lipomatous mass is often defined simply as a Lipoma. They are usually incidental and not significant, but can be removed if they invade an area that involves muscle. It is of mesenchymal origin.
