liver problems and crohn's

Hi Everyone
I have recently had a blood test for liver function as I have high blood pressure as well as ibd.
The test has come back with quite high ALT 0f 106. I have read about liver disease contected with IBD has anyone had this issue.

What were the rest of your levels like? ALP? Albumin? Was it only ALT?

My ALP is also elevated as well.
I did not mention that a few years ago I was put on Methotrexate and it effected my liver I had a scan and had to stop treatment.
My cholesterol has started to rise so my GP suggested statins again which I had stopped also at the time. Blood test after a month came back at ALT 82 stopped the statin, did not have a lot to drink over the xmas period which I was asked to do, I don't drink a lot anyway.
Then my last blood test came back ALT 106 which is higher than last time. I am a little concerned.

Hi CurlyWurly- I hope there are people with this experience who can share with you. It just happens that when you posted this, I was researching lab levels for liver and am learning. My son has normal results although his ALP was high normal. Will you be doing another blood test soon to see if it has come down. It could be temporary. Please keep us posted.
