Hi everyone, i am totally new to this forum, but not new to crohns diseaseoo:. My daughter was diagnosed at 5years old after being ill for over a year. She is 18 now and she has had, 5 major surgeries, countless investigations, been on elemental diet 5 or 6 times, firstly via a ng tube, then had a gatrostomy fitted. She is currently on humira, prednisolone, pentasa, iron, selenium, adcal, and gets vitamin b12 injections every three months. The surgeons say she has lost so much of her small bowel already, that they will now only use surgery as a very last resort. I also have an 11year old daughter who is healthy and a 3year old son who has had problems for months. He gets a lot of tummy pain, loss of appetite, tiredness, diarrhea(which can contain mucas), constpation, and pale complexion. He has had blood tests done and we get the results today. I am praying he doesn't have crohns but to be honest I do feel like he is a carbon copy of what his sister was like before she was diagnosed. As u can imagine we are worried sick. Xx
