LOL!!!! 'useful advice'

i'm going into hospital for my my open surgery (full panprotocolectomy and ileostomy) in 3 days! bags are packed and i've been flicking through some of the leaflets i was given by the stoma nurse...
one which warns me that "intercourse via the stoma is not recommended"

my fiance is sooo disapointed....NOT lol.

maybe i'm immature to find this so funny.

haha. got a good laugh from this i think its best when you can take things from this disease and make jokes about it, helps you go through it easier. good luck!!

Oh my gosh, my husband (then fiance) and I got such a kick out of that literature when I was getting my stoma too! I know people are into some weird stuff, but yuck!

Freebird, I got married with my stoma, and it was the most wonderful, Crohns symptom free day because of it! Good luck to you and your future husband!

Yeah I thought it was crazy that someone has tried it.

On a serious note, it must be a traumatic thing for a gay person to go through. Being sewn up, that is. I would NOT be happy if I had to have my vagina removed. lol
