Long lasting ulcer

Hi there,

New to the forum...feeling stressed...i have had crohns for 10 years....i have recently had a flare up and have kept getting ulcers which is quite normal.

However, i have had 1 ulcer under the tongue which will not go away...its been there for 4 weeks and looks like a laceration...should i be worried?

I went to the dentist today and they have referred me to the mouth cancer clinic to do a biopsy...has anyone else had an ulcer for this long?

I can't comment on duration of ulcers, but what do you do for treatment of them?

I use hydrocortisone pellets, bongela, medijel and corsodyl but they keep coming back

Have you ever tried supplementing with a B complex vitamin and having your vitamin B12 level tested? We've had some members have good success with that.

I have just started injections so hopefully will see results soon. Thanks David
