Lymph nodes

I have had an enlarged groin lymph node for a few weeks (maybe longer- I just noticed it a few weeks ago)- I talked to my general physician and she looked at it and felt it and said it was soft, moveable, etc. so not concerning. Plus, I have a fistula that had been draining for a year- the lymph node is on the same side as the fistula. My CRS confirmed that this is common and not worrisome.

In the past week my fistula has been getting much better but the lymph node hasn't gone down yet. Of course I'm worried about the worst, cancer, especially since I was recently on Humira (not on it anymore.) should I be pushing for further testing now? Does this seem to be common? I also recently had a CBC done and it was all normal.

I was worried about a lymph node awhile back. My doctor explained to me that it can take quite awhile for them to go back to normal. I think he had said sometimes even as long as 6-8 weeks. Not sure if that is the same for everyone. But that is what I was told.

I had a few swollen recently. Don't panic yet! Soft and moveable is good. Hard is suspicious.
