Well darn, I'm getting back to having some D. I hope it's just some iregularity and not the beginning of a flare. But I also got a really short temper the other night, which is another of my usual warning signs. I hope I can hold off a flare! Should I just take the whole dang bottle of Lialda?!

You will not believe what I am doing at work. I have to clean boilers, that are actually hot because they make bathing water, but since there is asbetose in the room I am wearing a tyvek (i.e. house wrap) suit with a respirator and the weather here is upper 90's. I change my shirt at lunch time and it's as wet as if I just got out of a swimming pool. I'm drinking lots of fluids but still I was worried this might get to me.

Scott, I go through a period every summer where my body has to reacclimate to the heat. I'm sure it must be immensely worse for a chron's sufferer. I hope it's just that and not a flare. I'm betting you know your body well enough to know though. Sorry to hear it for you buddy. Good luck!!

I first thought the heat would be bad for it but after the whole summer working outside in 95+ heat, I havnt really been affected....beside sunburn lol

This summer is the first summer I actually sweat. I think the medications have messed around my with my body because I used to never sweat, even playing hockey. Damn Crohns...

I hope all goes well.

Hi Stinky,

I hope things are settling down for you. Keep us posted!

Thinking about you.
Dusty

I can't even think about you having to work in that heat. Ack. I'd be bringing a cooler full of sandwich bags packed with ice, and strategically placing the ice inside my suit.

Stay cool! And, no flares allowed!

That's great to hear Stinky! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!

:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:

Take care,
Dusty
