Well I finally bit the bullet and asked for areferal to a new gi!!
He has offered for me to be reffered to him but for some reason no one had bothered to do it !

I saw my gp an explained the situation with my gi an how I'm getting no where an that I can't live like this etc and she has written him ( new gi ) a letter asking for me to be taken on by him .

I know he could say no but I don't c why he would so I'm hopeing I get it .

I so fed up of bloody crohns, I guess u all are too .
It's so frustrating when no 1 knows what it is even my gp's struggle with it , they know what it is etc but leave it up to my gi to treat which he does very badly in my instance .
I'm going on holiday on the 29th to costa brava just for 5 days an I'm hopeing all goes well while I'm there , I've already researched hospitals, docs and pharmacies just incase lol

My new gi ( hopefully )is called ....
Dr nimal balaratnam
Royal gwent hospital
South Wales uk

Does any 1 here know of him or anything , I've heard he's great but any more knowledge on him would b fantastic !
Thanks all

Good stuff! In most cases it is always a good idea to get a second opinion, some Gi's are more experienced than others in Crohns. Hope you get some answers. Fingers and legs crossed lol.
