Medication while on holiday

Hi

I'm currently taking azathiprine and it more or less keeps my crohns under control but i still have to go loo a fair bit at times. Prednis kept this more under control, i'm off to Greece on hol and am thinking about starting taking pred so i'm not disappearing too often, does this seem like a good or bad idea? Any advice much appreciated.

well, i think something that would help you enjoy your vacation more would be in order.
have you asked your doc about it? maybe explain the situation to him and what you would like and maybe he'll agree.
i hope something works out so that you'll be more comfortable! vacations really do suck when you arent feeling good.

I agree, talk to you doc about it. I think you should do what makes you feel better so you can enjoy your break!

Thanks, i tried to speak to my doc but it's a bit hard to get hold of him and i'm also at work all day, i think i'll take a low dose of pred hopefully that will be enough to contain those frequent bathroom visits!!
