hey everyone, just wanted to let you all know that I'm doing better. My girlfriend posted about my absense and I appreciate all of you who commented back. I'm really having problems with getting a G.I. now since apparently I owe a bit of money and they flagged me so I'm screwed of getting a G.I. until I pay it off or drive all the way to Pensacola for a doc.
I had an appointment with an internal med doc to be my primary, and then he told me he would not prescribe any meds for me, not even protonix.
then refunded my copay and said good luck.
my town is really bad, all the G.I.'s are part of the same group that I owe money to, so I'm at the point to where I'm gonna have to medicate myself.
if anyone has suggestions for OTC treatment, I would appreciate anything you have, theory or whatever especially for pain. my CT scans are just fine, but I have a lot of scar tissue damage from this surgery since they pretty much cut thru the old scar tissue from my first surgery.
I'm gonna stop babbling now, I hope you all are doing well and thank you very much for everything you guys provide on here, I don't feel alone anymore.

same group. my town is seriously pathetic when it comes to G.I.'s and dentists. this will more than likely end up me driving to Pensacola for appointments.

I'm sure you know all about probiotics but those can be kind of expensive. You can get Digestive Advantage at Walgreen's or CV and it is cheaper and has some probiotics in it. I don't know what you're doing in terms of limiting your diet and that does not always help much. But I went without treatment for a few years and spent periods of a few months at a time living mostly on nutritional drinks, crackers, soup, etc. I wasn't always successful at sticking to this diet, but when I was in pain, for the most part I did and it helped some.

There is a product that worked pretty well for me for a good while and then became ineffective at some point. It's a product that is developed from the molecules found in aloe vera. But it is more expensive than probiotics, if you take enough to make it effective for sever conditions. Just thought I'd throw it out there. It used to be called Molocure and there are number of different manufacturers. This is one from the original founders of Molocure. http://ampfloracel.com/index.htm
