I'm really nervous.uke_r: My parents are thinking about replacing my ng tube with a mickey g-tube.
I'm getting it replaced in a week.
What if it hurts?:frown:
What if something goes wrong?

Since this thread is a bit ago, i'm assuming you received your mickey button. I have one at the moment but am going to get it removed in about a week. It was one of the best things to happen to me, at first I was very reluctant to get it but soon after I saw why my parents did it and why my doctors recommended it. It made a world of difference for me, the feeding got me feeling so well and gaining back a lot of weight, it helped a lot. It will hurt to move around and feel like a rock stuck in your rib cage with a knife pushing it in, but just try to sit straight up until that goes away in about a day or two, and try not to move much. I am hoping/betting that you will love it/or have already have it and like it
