Mild Active Colitis??

I did colonscopy was normal but biosby found mild active colitis with preserved crypt architecture no granulma.
Normal cbc esr7 crb 2 Fecal Calprotectin 30.
But only soft stool 3 times or 4 timea daily

Hello Aziz and welcome to the forum. It seems to me like you don't have too much to worry about for now.The "normal" calprotectin level (UK) is 50-60 so you don't seem to have inflammation in your colon.Some people on the forum have levels from the hundreds into the thousands.Have you been prescribed any medication ? I'm sure there will be someone else on soon to welcome you aboard,time zones allowing.I hope you are feeling well at present.

Thanks I was in antibiotics klacid and flgyl for week and i did fecal calprotectin again before 2 days and the result is 83.. im feeling fine just loose stool 3 times. Tomorrow i will do MRI to my small bowel. After my doctor will see if im crohns or just self limit colitis. Does antibiotics rise Fc test result

I'm not sure ,best to ask your doctor.I'm glad you're getting tested,it seems like your doctor is keeping a close eye on you, which is good.It always takes a while. having the tests and waiting for results.I hope they will soon come to a definite prognosis Your calprotectin level has risen but it is still nothing to be concerned about yet. You seem concerned about your bowel movements being three times a day.Obviously it is not normal for you.I would write down your symptoms and concerns to discuss at your next appointment with your doctor.It's easy to forget things if you're anxious.Please keep us updated.There is always someone with the same problems who will be happy to share with you.

Hi again MRI result is Mild concentric enhancing wall thickness 6mm lenght 3cm in terminal ileum

Has your doctor suggested any medication or treatment Aziz ? Sometimes when it's diagnosed as mild,they're happy to see how it goes then do a follow up at a later date.If you're unsure or unwilling not to be taking something,he might prescribe a mild med.I choose not to take any meds.except basic ones to help with contradictory toilet issues,and pain meds.This disease takes so long to diagnose and also to find a med that is suitable for each individual.I hope you're feeling well today.

Thanks again,i didn't see my doctor yet next week is my colonscopy and he will see. After that we will start the treatment after 3 weeks from now or month.
I was thinking to start with imuran, or there is somthing else better??

Wait until after your colonoscopy.In the UK we usually wait four+ weeks for a follow up appointment .Your doctor will then have a better idea of what's going on inside and will discuss options with you then.

Hi again, ok the biopsies result. They took 2 from terminal ileum 8 random colon and 2 from rectum. The result is Negative for significant pathologic abnormality. But i have symptoms like burning in abdominal next to my belly button. All test is normal .. what else should i do ??
