So I was on Modulen IBD for 7 weeks, and last week i started to eat food and i started Imuran and Salofalk, but I read they are not good if you mix them together. But I didn't have any side effects. If anybody has experience please tell, everything helps.

There are many of us who are on 2 or more medications to help us with out condition.

Of course there are added risks when taking multiple medications, that's why your doctor keeps a track on things like blood work to montior.

Many people are both on Salofalk and Imuran at the same time. It is not uncommon at all.

If you aren't experiencing any side effects thank your stars and live on a happy life! :)

Imuran is an immunosuppressant drug and Salofalk is a 5-ASA drug. If your doctor prescribed them, it is okay to take them together. I take 6mp, which is an immunosuppressant together with Asacol, which is a 5-ASA drug, and I have no problem taking them together. I hope you continue to do well on them.

I am on Imuran and Allipurinol which according to the blood tests is working on the right path way. I got up to 200mg of Imuran a day, but it wasn't going down the right path way.So here's hoping both medications continue to work for a long time.. Anton
