This Saturday,04-19,is the 'Home Grown Maine Expo'. http://homegrownmaine14.wordpress.com/ I thought I would share this link in case anyone is interested.

I haven't been to one of there events before,so I can't give feedback.I'm looking forward to checking out the workshops.

They do charge an admission-$10.00 and half price after four

Hi RAP

I thought the expo was great. There were soooo many people! It was really well attended.I was there first thing and walked right in.Twenty minutes later and the lobby was filled and people lined up down the hall and out the door!It was still like that when I left 3 hours later.

The venue was grossly inadequate, but the expo itself was great.A nice tool for networking.

I went to several talks and workshops.I would of checked out more and asked more questions if it wasn't so elbow to elbow in the place.Everyone was polite and patient...I just don't like crowds. It really was a great source for information and the crowd was quite diverse.

Once the parking lot was full they had people park across the street in the Maine Dept. of Human Services lot.I thought that was fitting.

There was a tent outside for smoking/vaping.You got a certain color bracelet for access to the tent.

I didn't see any obvious presence of the law, federal or local.I'm sure it was being monitored in some discreet way.

My experience was a good one.Hopefully it will be in a larger place next time.

Sounds great, thanks for the report!
Learn anything new or worthwhile at the talks or workshops..anything worth sharing?
