Mononucleosis and Remicade?

Has anyone had Mono while on Remicade? I'm in my mid 30's and have never had Mono (or at least that produced symptoms). My doctor thinks I have Mono, just waiting on some lab work to be done in a week. I'm wondering if the Remicade re-activated a latent virus in my body (similar to what happens with TB and Remi). And now I don't know if I can get my next infusion in 4 weeks. Anyone have any experience with Mono?

This Mono things is terrible by the way. An ounce of energy once in awhile would be nice. Please tell me this goes away quickly

Unfortunately I think Mono is one of those things that drags on forever once you have it. I've never had it though so can't comment. Did you get your lab results back yet?

I got my labs back and I had a very high ANA titre (1:640). Doctor thinks it Lupus and not Mono. Now I have to wait for a Rheumatologist appt. I don't yet know if it is drug induced Lupus or not. I've felt like this once or twice for a period of time prior to starting on Remicade. Who knows. I'm just sad and frustrated at this point.

Ugh, I'm so sorry to hear this Hopefully it's not lupus but if it is, hopefully it is drug induced (likely). Obviously you'd have to switch medications but that would be better than actually have systemic lupus.
