More and more symptoms

It all started with 3 anal fissures and rectal bleeding and anal pain but now my symptoms are just increasing and getting painfully worse all the time.... I keep alternating between constipation and diarrheah and also started feeling dizzy often.... Last week i started getting abdomin pain on the lower left and now its continuesly spreading to lower right and really bad on top left/centre under my heart to the left... It is extremely painful sometimes and only getting worse! Are these signs of ibd? I'm only seeing a colorectal surgeon in 2 weeks and hopefully he'll send me for scopes and biopsies but does anyone know what i can do or take in the meantime? I can't take it any longer just waiting in such pain without doing anything abt it!

Hi. Those could definitely be signs of IBD. Dizziness could be dehydration from D or it could be anemia, or another vitamin or mineral deficiency. I'd also request fully blood work.

Thanx dave! I've had full blood tests several times and all ok also everytime blood pressure been more or less ok too. I have had vitamin d deficiency for a couple of yrs but never been like this! I'm trying to keep up with sufficient fluids so as not to be dehydrated but the pain is sooo painful and due to constipation i can't take anything strong that helps!

Probably best to wait to be seen by the specialist, but otherwise maybe keep a food diary to see if anything might be triggering your symptoms?
