I posted a couple weeks back on joint pain/general depression. Come to find out my neck, shoulders, arms and hands are probably due to herniated disks in the cervical region. I pretty much diagnosed it as I have had C5-C6 worked on twice and the symptoms are just the same.
Went to the GP today and she totally agreed with me. MRI scheduled for next Friday and she has a very good Neurosurgeon she is referring me to in Billings. What I like about him is he is very conservative and may not have to cut. Will try PT first to see and then go from there. I am starting PT on Monday and will go for 8 weeks. So that may answer all of our questions. But the MRI will give us the true answer.
So wish me luck!
Doncha just love life sometimes...spend all the energy dealing with Crohn's and then this stuff happens....But at least this is something that is cut and dried..so to speak. The surgery doesn't scar me at all. Have had it twice now. The one thing about it is the recovery is pretty easy and the outcome is very good.
