Has anybody tried MSM for Crohn's?

For those suffering from inflammatory bowel conditions, which are said to be quite common, MSM can help ease the discomfort and help normalize bowel function. Inflammatory bowel conditions include IBS (irritable bowel syndrome), Crohn's disease, and ulcerative colitis. "Oral MSM helps relieve inflammatory bowel conditions such as Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. Crohn's usually affects the lower segment of the small intestine, causing both severe pain and diarrhea," explain Jacob, Lawrence and Zucker. "The diarrhea, in turn, leads to painful irritation and inflammation in the perineal are between the anus and the genitals. MSM helps reduce the inflammation in the gut, which will lessen pain and diarrhea."

Hi Mazen... No, never tried them, never heard of them before your post. I find it odd that they include IBS in with Inflammatory bowel conditions. The staff at my local GI clinic treat IBS, but they make a distinction that it is not one of the many types of IBD, apparently as the I in IBS stands for irritable, and there is no inflammation. Now, it could be a case of semantics, or it could be the makers of this brand of supplement is just trying to target a broader range of customers. I also note that they tell you what the pills don't contain,
i.e. no sugar, artificial colours, etc.. but not to much on what the do contain.
i.e. lactose, cellulose, etc.. AS for feeling 21 again, hey..I'd be happy @ 41
