My stomach makes bubble noises

My stomach has been making extremely loud stomach noises in the past few weeks. Not sure why its happening or what I can do. It's so embarrassing in front of others.

I've never understood this myself, and can have very loud digestive noises as well.

I suffer the same. I had surgery about 12 months ago and I thought that it was just everything healing and settling down, but I am getting a bit worried now. Sometimes it happens when I eat salad for lunch, but also happens when I have soup it does the same. I am getting worried it is an obstruction or narrowing in my bowel but it is not every day so am not sure what causes it. I get so embarrassed, I work in customer service and I know my customers can hear it but I just tend to ignore it if I can! Sometimes I take something called de-gas and it works but it doesn't work every time.

Mine does the same, has done for years.

Once, I was away, volunteering on a camp, the Children were in bed, the adults up de-briefing. One of the supervisors suddenly got up and rushed outside, everyone was on high alert. He came running back in saying he swore he heard a car outside on the gravel, everyone agreed . . . . . I sheepishly had to admit, that it was just my tummy!!

For me, it's normal and not serious, but if it's a change for you, speak to your GI about it!

I as diagnosed/operated on 3 years ago (mever had a problem before hand only after my op )and I get those noises on and off, they seem to be completely normal for me there just alittle embarrasing and seems to get louder when I'm nervous or stessed =/

Definatly go to your docs if you're worried though

My stomach has a never ending orchestra of noises, my other half wont even lay on my stomach cause its so noisy, its been that way for yeeeeeeeears.

But yes def gets noiser if im anxious
