Hi, Greetings to all on this forum. This is my first post so go easy on me :p. Would just like to share my story and would love for any feedback from people who have suffered the same fate as me. Btw im from the U.K

I'll get straight to my story so far.

April -June 2014 - I started to develop serious abdominal pain after eating and at random times which would feel like a knife being poked inside me. This would happen normally at night 3/4 times a week (odd occasions during the day). Recurrent diarrhea with blood (on/off), Unbelievable unintended weight loss (lost like 2 stones), constantly feeling fatigued, needing to use the toilet for a No2 whenever i had a meal. I knew something wasn't right so i conducted some research with the help of Professor Google and it gave me many diseases which match the symptoms i had i.e stomach cancer, celliacs disease, crohns disease and other inflammatory bowel diseases. These symptoms continued to occur couple times a week and at other times it went back into remission. I started to ponder whether this was linked to the anal fistula or not. But anyway i didnt go to my GP about this and just left it.

July 2014- Had an MRI. Symptoms carried on.

Current Events to date.

Symptoms are getting worse, non-stop diarrhea - 5,6 days a week, feel really weak like you could punch me and it would hurt for a long time lol no exaggeration, weight loss is still occuring and stomach pains seem to be the norm, along with no appetite to eat. Have had to hand in my resignation at work as the fatigued part has really taken over. Really foul smelling farts and stools. Stomach seems to make Quentin Tarantino sound effects daily.

Future events: Have a follow up with the hospital doctor in a couple weeks regarding the MRI scan and im presuming he will also talk about the Crohn's issue. Even though i have not yet been diagnosed a part of me believes these symptoms are just temporary *SLAP* and then i woke up.

Thank you for those who have taken their time out to read my post and I apologise if i have written a bit too much. Feels good to talk about it. Would love to hear some feedback on similar stories or advice.

Thanks, Adam (22) - Unfortunately also a smoker.

To all the Crohn's suffers out there, keep strong.

P.S - The best thing in life at the moment is sleeping :ylol2:

Hi. Welcome to the forum!

The diagnosis part sucks. It could be Crohn's but it could be other things too. You'll probably have to have some more tests to find out for sure so hang in there. Don't be discouraged if the MRI doesn't give you a definite answer. It's still one step closer to finding out what's wrong.

Keep coming back here and check out the undiagnosed support group. It's nice to chat with people in the same situation.

Let us know how the MRI follow up goes.
