my story

ok so i was first diagnosed with crohns when i was 15 i am now 31. its been a long hard road for me ive had three small bowel recections totaling about 2 to 3 feet. i have been on every medication there is for crohns with no real luck with any i am now on tpn witch is iv nutrition 5 days a week 12 hours a day along with cimzia an immunasupresont iron supluments, paxil, pheneragin, levisn, omprezol. today i went to see a new gi for a second opinion on my treatment. the guy totally blows me off and tells me i should just stay with my gi and treatment plan. but this is the worst part my gi was giving me pain meds for the stomach pains & lower back and right leg and hips but he stoped givin them to me he said i dont know what im doing with these so i dont feel comfortable giving them to u anymore so this new gi tells me o no i dont give any of my patients pain meds. and my gp doc wont either im on medicade insurance and no painmanagment docs will see me either. ive been to the er so many times in the last couple months there gonna think im fakin it or something, i dont know what to do i just want the pain to end its takin over my life. this stupid crohns has cost me my job my house my good insurance. im in process of gettin ss disability but its been a year now. i just dont know what to do.
 
I want to welcome you to the forum. It sure sounds like you've been down a rough road with your CD. This is a terrific place to relax and meet some wonderful people, who can unfortunately share your pain. :)

hang in there have you tryed to look a pain management doctor on www.google.com thats where i found mine i have now type in the state you live in and the town type in pain management centers or pain management doctors and call them one by one see if they will take you i hope this helps
 
Hi and welcome! I am so sorry to hear you are in so much pain. Many people on the forum suffer from severe joint pain. Hopefully, someone who can relate will come along with some suggestions.

I sure hope you feel better soon. But I am glad you found us. When you aren't feeling well, just know we are here for ya!
