I have had Diarrhea and cramping way back since childhood. 1st barium enema was about 8th grade (nothing). Had stretches of no problems/ problems until 1992-93 when I had a mega Symtom. Where the Small and Large Intestine Come Together, became almost Completely Blocked. (Crohns)
Surgery was quick, about a month because, prednisone Can't Cure All.
I had about 4 years of feeling fairly decent. Have had Some kind of Symtom Ever Since.
Hemorrhoid Surgery about 1998, Tolerated them a LONG time. Thier Back Again!
I'm Told Prolapsed Hemorrhoids? looked it up, Yuk.
Crohns, IBS. Kinda hard to Tell The Difference between Crohns and IBS, if Crohns isn't Moderate to Severe? Fiber no Fiber?
I did Case Study Trials for Pentasa and Remicade.
I will Bring up Depression, It's a Fact in my Life. Meds for it Too.
Deal with it and See a Behavioral therapist Since 2001.
I'm OK Though just have to Accept limmitations are the way it is!
Had Surgery again in summer 2008 Same Spot as Original Surgery, Scar tissue Had my Intestine Down to the size of a Head of a Pin! Thier Words!
I Think This is IMPORTANT! I Told The GI and Surgeon I Felt There Was Active Crohns! I Was Told The White Count Was OK and The (CRP) (ESR) Test for Inflamation were also OK.
After Surgery It was Found Beyond The Blockage There Was MODERATE Crohns! (Removed) Still Wonder about New scar tissue in small intestine?
(I believe Disease can be Active but, Not Detected!) Was In My Case!
I think This Disease can Fool The Best!
TP-TP-TP, Toilet paper! A Must. Won't Eat after 5pm, Irritable Bowel.

When I had my 1st surgery there was a guy on the same Floor, He had been there for 6 weeks, Drinking ensure and being Fed Intravenously. He also had been home for a Year and a Half Prior to being in the Hospital when I was There, Trying to Gain 10 Pounds so he Would or Could have Surgery.
I Think about him Because his Surgery was a Success and how much Worse off I could be..
Have to Intentionally constipate now with questron to get relief from swelling and pain. And about every 2-3 days have a Down day and night. Not in total control?
I am fortunate to have a cousin that gives me part time stuff at an apple orchard, and Misc.
Enbrel Arthritis, so I went off immuran cause of White count issue. Questran, celebrex, topiramate (migraines) sumotriptan-Migraines , cipro 500mg-Bacteria scar tissue small intestine, prilosec, b-12 shot, remeron, loperamide, zolpiden
Don't Think the GI was happy about the Enbrel????
