thanks. about a foot. yeah they said i might need some in the future but i havent stated any yet and dont really feel the need. how are you?

I'm doing ok, thanks :) Nice to hear your doctor mentioned it. You may want to start it before you feel the need though ;) The probability that you will need it is very high.

Hi Rich and welcome! How are you feeling post op? Many enjoy a long remission after having surgery. I hope you are one of them!

Hey rich thanks for the video, I had the exact same surgery as you 10 months ago and I totally agree with everything you said, I also have a larger scar at my bb due to the bowel being stuck together. I also had about 1 ft removed and after the 1st couple of weeks recovery it's been totally uphill since.

My surgery was 3 1/2 hrs and I was in hosp for a week due to my BM taking stage fright!!! but all returned to normal after that, glad you've recovered well. Ru on any maintenance meds? I've just had 2 scopes done and biopsies all clear. Mild inflammation at surgery site but no active crohns so so far no meds for me. Hope you continue to feel well for a very long time and I really wish I had seen this video before my surgery so it will really help a lot of people out there thinking about it.

hey archie yeah i had the same thing in hospital i told the docs a white lie to get out quicker both my parents are nurses and i just wanted to get home nhs hospital is a horrid place for a young guy. nope no meds as yet i havent been able to tolerate anything so far thus i have had surgery they might put me on humira but i have concerns about that drug but i will take it if needed. thanks for the kind words hope you well.

Ha ha I should've lied by the end of the week I think the staff and patients were all having a whip round as to when I would go, even the cleaner knew about my BM's !!! You've got to laugh or you'd just cry so much for dignity... :)
