Well I finally got around to it. I've stopped putting it off. I scheduled it. I took the days off work. I'm WAY over excited. I can't wait. It's my turn to have a 1st.

It's not that bad, you're out of it anyway.

The worst part is cleaning out your system the night before with that golytly stuff... its disgusting and makes you pee out your butt.

By the way, thanks for your comment on my "95% sure" posting. Good to hear youve asked yourself the same thing about whether the meds are worth it when you don't have the symptoms.

surferbro: I know it's not bad. I'm just not looking forward to the prep! heh And come on .. even if you're not awake to enjoy the experience ... doesn't mean any of us like to actually make the apps and go through it all. And Yeah, I have lots of questions and such. It's just hard trying to sort through it all, and like we both said, especially when you don't really have symptoms to back up the diagnosis. Feel free to PM anytime if you want to talk out the feelings and such, I'm sure we're on the same page. hehe

Don't fret about the procedure. We all were nervous the first time. Hope you get the Miralax prep - it's tasteless and easy. Worst part is night before. You'll get through it...we all do.

Oh yeah. I'm not even really nervous about it to be honest, just not looking forward to it. But I do think (back to the attractive GI talk) that it should be a law that all doctors, especially ones that are going to look up my butt, should be ugly. Sure makes showing my flaws easier. hehe

I haven't got the paperwork in the mail yet, but the lady on the phone said that he wanted me to take pills for the prep? I don't know. I tuned most of what she said out, knowing it would come in paperform anyway.
