need help/advice with certain foods please

hi all , my work consists of being on the road for most the days (ironic for a crohns sufferer) and only food i can get is at local food shops...i am looking for some advice on the following:

1. which crisps are safe to eat if any?

2. i cut chocoalte and sweets out as they are probably bad for me

3. am i best buying cream of soups or making my own? if so any links to nice soups please?

4. what do you guys eat when your out of the house on a typical day?

1. I would suggest baked chips, if you feel the need to eat them.
2. Eliminating as much sugar is better for your health, regardless of Crohns.
3. May not want cream soups, but more clear broth or vegetable soups. Sometimes the cream (dairy) can cause trouble. Organic is always good as well.
4. When possible you can bring along cut vegetables (they will stay moist in container with a little water), nuts (if you can tolerate them) for protein, organic bars (coconut is my fav) from health store (no preservatives).
I would also suggest water or tea (room temp). Ginger water is always good to keep in the car as well. I put it in water bottles.

Hope this helps!

I always take 3 stainless steel water bottles, full of reverse osmosis and charcoal filtered water, to work everyday. I also take a 2 cup stainless steel mug of yerba mate (sweetened by 3 drops stevia extract and 1 drop peppermint oil).

For food, I always take two hard boiled eggs daily. I also keep my 100% peanut butter (no oils/salt/sugar) at work with sprouted bread in the work fridge. The night before, I usually make a double serving for dinner, saving the 2nd for work the next day.

Also the night before, while I'm boiling/steeping tea, I use the other burner on the stove to make 2 eggs (w/ ev coconut oil) and put them on some sprouted bread (sprinkled w/ salt & vege seasoning) before snapping it in a portable pyrex/bpa free rubbermaid container for breakfast.

These are just a few of my tricks. Yes, I eat entirely too many eggs, but I'm okay with that. The more protein, the better.
