So glad to have found this thread! My 20 year old daughter was recently diagnosed with Crohn's. She was in the hospital for a couple of days due to severe dehydration and anemia. She is doing much better now and is on Remicade and prednisone (tapering). She is in college in CA (and I am in NJ...very difficult being so far away) and, although she has no trouble eating now, she is looking for a meal replacement drink for when she has no time between classes to have a regular meal. They gave her Boost in the hospital and she went home with a couple of extra ones. She asked me to get them for her but I was not happy with the ingredients (aside from the carrageenan it also has sucralose, which we avoid). Not easy to find a ready to drink meal replacement without carrageenan.

I found this one and was hoping you all could look at the ingredients and let me know if they are okay (all the other ready to drink ones by this brand have carrageenan).

I also found an article when googling "carrageenan and ibd" that listed "Intestinal Health Antagnonists" to avoid. This list included "Calcium supplements containing calcium phosphate or calcium triphosphate". The ingredients for the shake I linked above include "Tricalcium phosphate". Is this the same thing? Here is the link to that article.

Thanks so much for any and all help in trying to decipher these ingredient labels and figure out what she can eat!
