New guy, start remi soon....

I'll post more later but I'm waiting on insurance to start remicade...I have bad uc since 2007....I'm on asacol, prednisone 70mg! Flagyl, and so on...nothing works. I'm very active and athletic, have 3 young sons and am tired of this....I hope this remicade is an answer of sorts for me.....

Greetings and welcome! I can only imagine how frustrating it must be to have had bad Ulcerative Colitis since 2007. I'm sorry you're having to go through that

Hopefully your insurance gets you your Remicade soon! In case you haven't already found your way there, we have a Remicade forum where there is a tremendous amount of information to be found.

Hey Cmk, I feel for you, up until 2 years ago I was worn down and tired, then I started Remicad and it has been my miracle drug. I have 4 children ages 8,6,4,3 and before remicade I didn't have the energy to do anything, now I can co-coach 2 soccer teams and 2 tee ball teams and ice skate with my daughter. Hope this helps. Remicade has been a miracle drug for me. I would drink it,soak my feet in it, or rub it in my hair if that what was required. Havent had a flare inthe four years I've been on it. Best wishes to you.
