Hey yall. Maybe yall can help me with answers. I was diagnosed 4 years ago with crohns in my colon after a very traumatic hospital visit. Back then I had insurance but quickly lost it afterwards. I was able to control it most of the time with diet. 220 lbs lost actually but now I don't think diet is enough. It's time I take drugs. I have no insurance and every time I go to the hospital they check you in give you meds for the pain, stop the bleeding and send you home. I don't know what else to do. I have to have a colonoscopy in order to get any medication and that's over $1500 here in Texas. I'm in a lot of pain and I really don't know how much more I can take. Does anyone have any suggestions because none of these free or low income clinics offer specialist. At least I have not been able to find one. I am in a lot of pain and bleed almost on a daily. I'm scared at this point. Please help me with suggestions. Thanks yall.
