New Rash Appearing

I don't quite know how to react to this new rash. I have tiny red bumps, few but enough to see over different areas of my back. I started itching two nights ago and really thought it was just dry skin. After the third night I decided to check my back out. Only new drug is Humira, however I have been on it 7 weeks now.

Does an allergic reaction from Humira take that long? Could I have been exposed to someone with a virus like chicken pox? I am taking some Benadryl to see if it makes the rash go away.

You can develop a drug allergy at any point and skin reactions on biologics are not uncommon. If it doesn't go away, I would have it checked. It doesn't mean you have to stop Humira but you may need some steroids or anti-histamine with it to avoid a reaction.

Thanks. It did go away with Benadryl. So far it seems the Humira is helping so I'm hoping this was just a fluke.
