New symptom. Is this common?

Lately I've been experiencing pain in my bottom, and it's not nice. Very sensitive while sitting and during bm. Sometimes it kind of gives of a slight shooting, stingy pain but there isn't anything coming out other than regular bm. Kind of worried haven't had this before. Does anyone get this ???

Hemorrhoid maybe? Just a guess. Is there any visible blood or discharge of any sort (other than a bm)?

It could possibly be a fissure which is a tear in the skin, they can be very painful and are associated with crohn's.

If you can, I would try and have a look with a mirror. If it's a fissure or a hemmie, chances are you'll be able to see it.

I get the same thing when I'm flaring. I have UC. I get really swollen "down there" and it feels painful when sitting or going to the bathroom. It actually looks swollen too when I check. When I'm not flaring, it is "normal."

I have a peri-anal skin tag which is "hidden" inside and causes me a lot of pain when having a bm
