New symptom

My dd called me to come get her from school for the first time today. Her tummy hurts. There are no other symptoms - just pain in the middle of the belly. We had been doing well. Does this warrant a call to the dr?? Still new to all of this.

Sorry she is not feeling well. Is stomach bug going around school? I always ask the nurse if they are seeing anything when I have to pick mine up with tummy troubles.
What are your mommy senses telling you?
I usually do not call if one day of tummy pain but if it lasts for a few days or other symptoms show up then yes.
It's frustrating not knowing whether it is a virus, something they ate or the CD rearing its ugly head.
Hope it is just a minor bump and she is feeling better quickly.
(Isn't it sad when we hope its a tummy bug)

Thx jacqui! She seems to be feeling better after some Tylenol and rest. The rest of us had the stomach bug 2 weeks ago, but she never got it. Could be that, or just a fluke. She has been very tired lately.

I know there's a bad (but fortunately short) stomach flu going around here. I hope that is all it is in your daughter's case. take care!

Praying for just a bug, but pain with increased fatigue I would think warrants a call to her doctor. It certainly can't hurt.

How's she feeling today Cupkatemom? Seems like people are dropping like flys at my work with the flu (stomach virus). I'm hoping I don't get it. I of course told Jack that if anyone so much as sniffles near him to go wash his hands.

Well...we figured it out - she is constipated! Oh the roller coaster of this disease! As a side note, we were at the podiatrist this morning and now she has "Turf Toe". It is probably from playing soccer, but since it's a joint issue, I guess it could be from the Crohn's. She is now on rest from physical activity and is wearing a surgical shoe. I am so ready for some good news!
