I am a 41 year old female that was recently diagnosed with Crohn's. My diagnosis is a little more complicated than most. I was diagnosed 20 years ago with UC and had surgery 14 years ago (j-pouch). I had 11 surgeries due to complications and spent 7 months in the hospital. I had 14 good years until the beginning of 2012 when I got severly sick and was finally diagnosed with Crohn's in February.
New to Crohn's but not new to IBD

Hello and welcome to the forum. I am sorry to hear that after a feeling well for so long you have now have a crohns diagnosis. Were you on meds before this for the UC and have these now changed? How are you doing now symptom wise?

Hi samrae and welcome. Awww, that must have been heartbreaking to find out that it was Crohn's Disease all along 
You poor thing. But at least you had 14 years of remission. And hopefully you can get back there for a long time again soon
