New to forum

Found this site by googling and took a peek and thought would join! Don't know many ppl with Crohn's so connecting for advice etc would be great.

I was diagnosed pretty late in life, 38 after being sick for awhile and in agony. I have so far (knock wood) been able to control it through strict diet, fish oil and probiotics and no prescribed meds! I have been on steroids though for those really bad times.

Anyhow, just wanted to say hey!

Its good to hear you have things under control right now and hope it stays that way for you.
There is a wealth of information on the forum and many friendly and helpful fellow crohn's sufferers with whom to relate.

I'm pleased to hear you've been able to control things pretty well thus far.

What kind of diet are you on that has allowed you so much success? And do you have a GI monitoring you to make sure that there isn't chronic inflammation slowly doing damage?
